Spring Sightseeing on Blackcomb Mountain

Daily from 10am - 3pm
April 21 - June 8: Upload from Whistler Village on the Excalibur Gondola and Excelerator Chair.
June 9 - July 27: Upload from base of Blackcomb via Wizard & Solar Coaster Chair.
Once on the mountain, guests may follow a switchback pathway from the top of Excelerator Chair to the Glacier Creek Lodge; this hike is recommended for intermediate hikers and above. Access may require walking on snow.
Toilet facilities are available at the top of Excelerator Chair and in the Glacier Creek Lodge. Food service is availble at the Glacier Creek Lodge only.
Mountain footwear and warm clothing required. Mountain conditions and weather can change rapidly.

Get up, up and away with a Peak Adventure! Head up the Whistler Village gondola and watch for bears, deer and other wildlife while you enjoy breathtaking views. Once at the Roundhouse Lodge, watch history being built with the construction of the Peak to Peak Gondola. We have a great interpretive display for you to check out as well as a video in our replica Sky Cabin.
After exploring the sights at the Roundhouse ride the open air chair to the Peak of Whistler at more than 7,000'. The Inukshuk and panoramic views of Black Tusk, glaciers and the Coast Mountain Range make for unforgettable memories and photos.
Whether you are looking for an epic adventure or a great view while having lunch, this is the place to find it. Pick up a Summer Trail Map for descriptions and directions or take a free mountain tour, offered daily at 11:30am.
As weather conditions can change suddenly in the alpine, please be prepared for winter conditions: sturdy walking shoes, winter jackets and warm layered clothing is recommended if you partake in the Peak Adventure ride.
